Can someone tell me how to tag?

When it says submit tags you just use a word or two or more to desribe the topic. For instance, I will tag this reply as "tagging" and Hartley.

Hi Hartley, welcome to myLot! Tagging is describing your post in one word, like this one you could tag this as 'tag' and 'discussion.' Tagging is a way for your post to appear in search or to be included in similar discussion. Let say I created another discussion like 'will tagging improve my earning?' and i would tag it as 'tag', when somebody responded to my discussion your post will appear too in similar discussion. This improve the visibility of your discussion that will attract responders. The more responders the more we earn.) Have a good day.

Tagging is like putting in keywords or phrases that would help draw someone to your discussion. Tag words for your question would be tagging, or how to tag, and maybe your name. I'm relatively new still, too, and your question is a good one. Others will learn from the responses you get from the nice mylotters who share their expertise.
