people wink at a person whne u like somehting or some action of the other person as far as i know, is it true winking means he/she likes you

Some people have occasional muscle twitches or spasm's which upon occasion can resemble winking, though the timing would have to be awful.

Online the winking smiley means that they are just kidding with you. In real life, I can see how this might be more misconstrued. The chances of someone winking and liking you are higher than online. And online the wink is more frequently used, I noticed.
