What do you like best about working from home?

I have been a work at home mom for several months now. I can honestly say it has been some of the happiest times of my life. This is not because I have completely easy jobs. In fact, some of my jobs can be very stressful sometimes. I do work as an agent in customer service/sales and one of my jobs entails making outbound calls to prospective fundraiser donaters. However, even though I do get a few rude people on the phone everyday it's still much more satisfying than working outside the home. I am able to pretty much schedule myself to work the hours I want to work. I am also here during the day to get my hubby off to work and spend time with my kids. When they are in school, I can work and be finished for the day by the time they come home if I want. Or, if I need to make a few extra dollars I can even work late at night while they sleep. The money I make is ok too. I don't make thousands each month but I am able to clear just as much and usually more than I did when I worked outside the home. The amount of money it saves me on gasoline is also another great benefit. So, all in all, I like everything best about working from home. It allows me freedoms that I never had before and I don't think I could ever enjoy working away from home nearly as much.

Working from home is one of those wonderful positions. I am still trying to find that "perfect" position that will allow me to stay home and make a substantial income. I have found a few things that bring in a little extra income but nothing full time yet. I have gotten an invitation from LiveOps but haven't accepted it yet. I am always open for suggestions.

Hi there shayred! You actually might want to consider Liveops! I've been there for almost a year now and the potential to make money is great! Especially now because this is the time of year when business really starts picking up!

I love working from home. It was nice becuase I was able to stay at home with my daughter. I usually worked nights part-time so that I could spend the most time with her. She is starting full day prek soon, so I will probably switch to working days and increase my hours. But, I still enjoy having the ability to volunteer at school or attend field trips with her.

Hey sIC, I've been a WAHM since '04 the main thing I love about it is I can schedule my work around my life and not my life around my work. I Love setting my own schedule & the work I do is pretty cool too, paid bi-weekly,taxes taken out just like a regular employee except I have no "real" supervisor not to mention all those other benefits like gas,clothes,etc... I just love it & probably won't go back into a b&m job for a long time. +'s |:)

There are lots of great free forums out there to join that are all about finding real work from home. Two of my favorites are workplacelikehome.com and workathomemafia.com They both have tons of great wah jobs to apply for and lots of great information about working from home. Good Luck in your search!

I like working at home, mostly because I'm at home. Like you said, it saves gas. Now that gas is at $4.00+ per gallon, I definitely love that fact that I use less gas and I avoid traffic.
