we picked berries again today!

I posted yesterday about how my son and I went berry picking. Yesterday, we only got a small bowl of blackberries, but we had so much fun! Well, I had more fun then him, but he had fun riding in his wagon car. LOL Today, I went down the road and got a lot of red rasberries and a few more black berries. I took a picture of them because they are so pretty! Tomorrow, I'm watching my little sister (she is 10) and I'm going to take her back in the woods to help me get more black berries. I wish I knew of more places in our woods and area to get more berries. I'm addicted to doing this now! LOL

I have not been to pick berries in years. We used to pick blackberries, gooseberries and strawberries. I just don't have the time to go travel to pick them anymore. I just buy them already picked and packaged at the store. I love to pick and eat them when they are fresh more though.

I've never had a gooseberry before. Sounds different! We walked farther down the road the night before last and I found MORE red rasberries! I hope I find more spots!

I have not been berry picking since I typed this message, and I'm so dying to do so! I may take my son out tonight and see if we can find some.

That was a good bonding moment for you and to your son. That moment can help you to be more closer to your son. We don't have black berry here in our place and it is also expensive here so i will just try to invite my husband and siblings to pick mangoes in the farm that will be a very good family for us. I also love eating mangoes..Yum Yum Yum.. I never try to taste black berry but i already try the red and blue berries.
