My baby girl scared me VERY early this morning!

I woke up at 3:30 am because I thought I heard something. (I am a very light sleeper.) I opened up my eyes and my 17 month old daughter had her face about 3 inches from my face. She grinned at me and said, "HI!" She was standing on the side of my bed standing on a step stool that she had picked up and carried across the room. Ever get a fright from a child, or pet in like this in the middle of the night?

Heck yeah , I have. My daughter has done this a few times. My least favorite was when I didn't wake quickly enough. She pulled my eyelid open and said" mommy time to get up" Talk about a real eye opener.

yes! i was babysitting my cousins baby, hes just about to turn three. and my aunt came home and i decided to take a nap before i went home. and i woke up to him being nose to nose with me asking me if i was sleeping.

when kids are at that age, they do the cutest things..mine still amazes me to this day at things he does...

My baby does that all the time... and she would even wake me up just to go to my side of the bed... and so that she can reach toys left on the floor... it freaked me out at first... but i got used to it... she is an early bird... and she is the one who always wakes me up... sometimes... she would laugh and sing just to wake me up...

Oh that's cute! My daughter is very
independent. When she wakes up, she is
more likely to let everyone sleep and go
watch TV. She's four years old.
When she was younger, she would come up to
me while I was sleeping and wake me up.
Not so much anymore!

that's funny. i wish sometime i have a baby who can scary me like that. a cute baby, of course. not a baby with arnold schwarzenegger's face in "junior"

My son is 9 now but when he was younger, he done the same to me. I don't know if it is a phase he went through or if he was just scared at that age, but it would scare the crap out of me when he done it. Now when he wakes up, he will turn his tv on and watch cartoons and makes him some cereal..lol..He wont wake me up to get it for him, he keeps telling me that he is a big boy and he can do it himself..lol..

Yeah, sometimes my 4-year-old son will wake me up like that. He has woke up at 5 am before and gotten right infront of my face and woken me up. It freaks me out when he does that.
