No, where did you get this date from? They predicted that the world would end on 1 Jan 2000; well, nothing happened, except for some Y2K stuff - almost everyone was prepared for that. So if there is really an end to the world, I don't think anyone could be prepared!

No, I do not believe that at all. In my 57 years of living I have heard the world will end many times, but it, and me, are still here :)

You haven't given me a reason to believe that. Although I believe that Jesus is soon to return, you do realize that there is a day set aside in just about every generation that He suppose to return on. They have all been wrong up until now. I think that it is just what Jesus said, "No man knows the day nor the hour..." Now if you guess everyday of ever hour that he is going to return, how would you choose to live your life?

From what I have been told and know, I was told that No one but God the Father knows when He will return. We just don't know. I feel it is soon with the way things are happening, but I also feel that God is merciful and is giving us enough time to make it right before he does. just my take.

I have no idea where you got that prediction. But no man knows the time nor the hour when the Lord will appear to take his children home. But, the world won't end, then. There will be people left on earth that never followed the path of salvation and will have to endure the tribulation on earth. Then, God will come back to earth with all his people to set up his Kingdom and reign for a thousand years. There have been many predictions as to the date of the end of the world, and it only suffices to make some unbelievers think that we Christians are nuts and don't have a clue. This is the devil's way of getting people to think there is no God, no heaven, or no hell. This is what he is very good at. But rest assured, if the world were to end then, it wouldn't because somebody actually knew the date; they would only have guessed correctly. We just need to be vigilant and be ready if and when he does return.
