Yes, it is true. A woman without brainwaves or heartbeat who had rigor mortis beginning to set in suddenly returned from the dead and spoke. Read more about it here. http://www.goodnewsdaily.net/modules/news/article.php?storyid=8634 Is it a miracle? Or an unexplained aspect of medical science? What do you say?

Well, i guess it should be a miracle, as science cant explain many things, and i doubt it would be able to explain this. But i guess things like that did happen many times, throughout ages, and ppl are still in denial.

It will be awhile before science explains this one, if ever.

Unexplained aspect of medical science would be my guess, but I am not a medical expert. Here is my guess, and of course I am only opining here, that the brain actually still had unmeasurable activity. Maybe all brains are still active even though nothing can be measured by science. Her brain just came back to a level that can support life in the human body.

You are probably right as the story included nothing about the woman claiming to have met or spoken to God, though she did say God would let her know later why He saved her. I go with unexplained aspect of medical science myself.

I think somehow, UPI have let us down a little. There's noticeably no quote from any doctor she was under the care of, other than the vaguest wave of the hand to an unspecified comment. Have Reuters, AP, or some other reputable News Agency picked up on this yet?

Not that I know. I only found it because I went looking for 'quirky news' that I could invent a wierd headline for. I do this for fun, sometimes. 'Doctors in denial' is an assumption on my part to spice up the story. I do this all the time with the 'quirky' stories.

The amazing thing to me about this story was that rigor had started. I thought it was impossible to come back from that.
