Have you ever saw a dog chase fireworks?

My neighbor is out in the yard shooting off some small fireworks and his little dog is chasing every one of them. I thought she was going to get hurt by this one that kept spinning around on the ground! But, she wasn't. When he lit the next one she was right back after it.
I didn't know dogs would chase firecrackers. This dog is scared of people too. But not burning objects..lol

My dog took it one further last year. My dad came out to shoot of some fireworks and my dog was getting a bit excited about them. Well he I guess decided that we forgot the firework and went and grabbed the lit firework with his mouth. He looked like he was spitting sparks and brought it over to us. We all freaked cause we almost got burned. So now he is locked up during any lighting of home fireworks. No one got burned at all thankfully.

Thanks for best response. It was kinda scary thankfully this year went without a hitch my dog is getting used to the fireworks and knows they are not toys.

That is surprising. My dog keeps barking at the fireworks. THey are shooting them off all over the neighborhood. Both my dog and cat are scared by them. They are hiding now. Actually I think the dog finally fell asleep. The cat ran away and hid under the table.
