Yesterday I joined this site that someone mentioned here at mylot. They actually posted their referral link and I decided to click on it. I am so glad that I did. This site called, informative post, is a site where you can post articles and review them and get paid for them. I am still learning about it. Once you have wrote the article you submit it for review and then they pay you according to views and votes. I wrote my article on "is technology changing our lives for better or worse?" Also the other bonus with this site is they pay via paypal on the first of evrey month once you reach $25. If I can write 5 more articles like this I will reach payout, that would be cool.

That is really good and well done for getting a good pay for your article, hopefully you have found something that you can work at and earn some nice money. I just quickly went on it and checked it out, it looks interesting and so I will have a good look at it when I get the chance, I have put it in my favourites for now. I have not submitted anything to helium or triond for a month now, cant believe it is that long. But I have been following an online course to learn how to write etc, I am still doing the first exercise in which I have to write a story out of my life and write it as if I am the third person. I have been doing this but my story seems to be taking on a life of its own and so although it is a short story there is going to be a lot more to it than I thought. As soon as it is done then I will submit it. Gosh I wrote more than I thought I was going to write to you here! xx

Wow that is awesome that you are doing an online course, learning new skills in writing. That sounds interesting writing a story about your life putting it in the third person. I would be interested reading it when you finished if you decide to post it. I am better at writing information and factual things rather then stories. My daughter is great at writing stories. I do really like this site informativepost, you also get 50 cents for every article published from referrals, so if you do decide to join would you be able to join under my affiliate link. If you are interested I will send you this link, it is ok if you are not. I have not wrote anything on helium for months, I have been there a year and only made around $12, so I like this informative post site better. Earning $5 for one article. However I don't think they post all articles submitted they review it first, I still have 3 articles pending in the queue. Keep me updated on your writing success. Sorry I haven't been responding to many of your articles lately, been only on here for short periods. Be back in your discussions soon, take care.

It gave me an exercise to do, remember something that happened in your life that stands out to you, then write about it not as me but as a third person. Now, I have loads of things in my life to choose from so I chose one and I started writing it. It has zoomed off in a direction I never expected! I get more and more excited writing it, it is like it really happened, even though the bit I am writing now has a lot of fiction to it! I am going to post it on either helium or triond or both, but I am not sure how long it will take. I am interested in the site you are on and would like to join, although whether I would be any good at it I dont know! Dont worry about answering to my discussions it is not a problem, I just like chatting to you, thats what I miss more!xx

Wow that does sound interesting. I wish I could write great fiction. Can't wait to see your finished product. I will send you my email in PM, so you can chat to me anytime. Sometimes I don't always make it here. The site has been really slow for me lately. I miss chatting to you too, you have been a great friend here.

I read that discussion too and I bookmarked the site. I have not yet submitted anything to Information Post but now I think I should be writing for this site. Thank you for the information. If you can get paid a similar amount for each article you write it would not be difficult to reach payout every month. I wish you well with your articles and hope you get paid a lot for them.

Hello, let me know how you go with your articles when you submit them. Apparently $5 is the highest they pay, so I am glad I got paid that amount. I think they pay anywhere from 25 cents to $5 for an article that is published. It also says on the site that some articles may take a while before they are published depending on the views it has had. So feel lucky that they published my article so quick after writing it last night.

I am from Australia and I joined so pretty sure most countries can join. The website is: http://www.informativepost.com Also with the pay scale once your article is submitted you are paid anywhere from 0.25 cents to $5 per article. I was lucky that I got paid the higher rate. Good luck, let me know how you go with it.

Good for you. I wish I could write a bit better to write for sites like that. I have come across a couple of sites that pay pretty well but I suck at writing so I just passed them along. I hope you get to make more on that site.

It wasn't that long at all, I think around 350 words and it only took me around 15 minutes to write. So good earnings for 15 minutes, plus I wrote it at midnight, lol. My brain works better late at night, must be a little nightowl. I think it is for all around the globe, as they use paypal to pay. I am from Australia and I was able to sign up.

Lol, I didn't want to get my discussion deleted by posting my referral link. I did give the name of the site though, informativepost. If you want to join there I can PM you my affiliate link. Just let me know. I did not want to hassle people to join there under my name. I mainly wanted to let them know how happy I was that for little effort I was paid $5 for one article. I am also with Helium, but they don't pay aswell.

Hi Kiran, It's great to hear your story and I hope you get to keep it up. I might also try the site. How long do they review your article? And what is the rule on the views and votes? I guess they do have rules against rating your own articles? Thanks for giving us this info. Hope to hear back from you.

Hi meleshia, well they only took over night to review this article. I also have two more waiting in the queue now, hope they get published soon. They pay according to your authority rating. "The AP rating was developed to help good authors get their work published in less time. All the articles that are currently in queue to be reviewed are ordered by the author's AP rating. Here is bit of information for you about payments. "Authors with a high AP rating normally have a very short wait before their article would get reviewed and published. Meanwhile authors with a very low AP rating may never get their articles published." (informativepost, 2007)To increase your authority rating it is based on page views, votes, comments you make on other authors articles, being active on the site. They pay anywhere from 25 cents to $5. So guess I was really lucky to get my article published since I just joined. As I have not been active there long at all, not commented on other peoples articles etc. Send me a PM if you want the link.

If you say you earned $27 with 27 articles on Helium as well, that is very good by Helium standards, most people I know who use the site, only get paid about 3 cents an article, despite writing incredibly long and informative ones! I will check this website out, thanks.

Of course you have a chance, just write topics that you are passionate about. I just requested your frienship. I will PM you the link. You also get paid 50 cents for referrals articles that are published.

Yes. Your first article is reviewed and published immediately. But for your next articles, you have to depend on your "Author Priority" rating before your articles are reviewed and published. Get more pageviews and share your articles to friends and those who'll care about the topic you've written. Care to exchange stories?

Hi little pinoy, are all first articles published, I thought it depended on your author priority or page views. I would be interested in reading your articles on there too, how do we exchange stories?

Well I guess its a good thing if they publish everyones first article for newbies, so we get easy $4.95. I just hope it does not take a long time to get our other articles published. Hopefully if we stat active and comment lots our articles will be published soon. Thanks for your comment on my article, I just checked it out. Did you get my comment that I made? I notice once you make a comment it does not show up right away. I think it gets sent to the persons email first.

I believe all first articles of newbies are reviewed immediately. The next stories will be based on "Author Priority" already. That's how I understood it. I got four pending stories to approve. My first one was approved withing 24 hours. The pending four stories hasn't been approved yet. I donnu, maybe they need another article for the 2nd 1 I published. By the way, my story was "Purging Disorder: The Little-Known Facts" I already commented and voted on your story. Nice one. So many responses to yours huh?

It sounds like a good site, but would need more info before I can make a judgement about it. I love to write, and have joined helium.com, but writing for them at the moment isn't happening because there just seems to be nothing I can write about at the moment. Let us know how you are going with this new site.

i too joined informative post a couple of weeks ago. though, i'm having a hard time getting my articles approved because their based in on the AP (author priority). it seems that the higher the AP of a user, the faster their articles will be approved. i emailed the owner and he mentioned that there are articles that wasn't reviewed because of the low AP score of the user. i have 5 article pending for review. but i have to raise my AP score. can you guys help me? the owner said that page views will help increase my AP score. a link in my profile page leads to my review for iPhone. if you have time, please visit my post. thanks

Congratulations on the earnings. If you like writing you might want to check out my website called Phozzic (link in profile). We list different ways of making money, specifically websites that actually payout. Everything we list is legit and not PPC type sites. We have different sections based on how you earn, with "Writers" as one of our main topics. We currently list 8 different "write for pay" sites that you may want to check out. Some of them have been mentioned by some other responders in this discussion.
