Hi lynnchua! When I was a teen, I often times experienced migraine. Later, I realized that due to emotional stress, late intake of food, drank softdrinks more often had increased my acidity level, then my nerves became tensed. So, a good massage from the head, shoulders, back, waist until the feet and a good sleep, can minimize the pain until it is healed. Regular and balanced diet is the best solution too.

Two things I know of. First, try sitting the lower part of the body up to your belly button in a warm tub and put a towel of ice around your neck. Blood likes to go to warm places. So some of the blood will leave the head area and go to the lower part of the body in the warm tub. That takes pressure off the blood vessels there in your head and relieves the migraine. My son had them and this worked well for him. But also, drink more waetr! Sometimes migraines are a sign the liver is overworked and you are not eating well and have toxins in the blood? If this is the case..and only you know how you eat..if it is junk food or good stuff, then drink lots of water to flush the toxins out and clean out your system! Use both together and you should get relief! Hope this helps!

Did you take your meal? pain killers taken early enough will abolish an attack.Application of an ice pack to the head could work.Ice packs are specially designed for this purpose is in the market. The two time-honored relief measures are a darkened room and sleep.
