What's your floor made of?

Our floor was made of concrete.

I live in an old bungalow which has wooden flooring.Though it takes alot of work like waxing it and polishing it to make it look good.It really gives a good look to the house.I always make sure its polished atleast once in 6 months.Since this place is very cold the wooden floor is the best.all other floors will make the place more colder.One has to be very careful though, as its very slippery.

Flooring in my lounge, kitchen, hall, landing and bedrooms is laminate. It looks just like real wood but was far cheaper to buy. On my stairs I have carpet and in my bathroom as well as my shower room I have lino. This is hard wearing and when water is spilled on it I find this easy to wipe up. Marble would be lovely for a floor but in my home country it would be very expensive.

My floor is made of "hard" wood but with bad quality.
