A pregnant female soldier was found dead in the bath rub of her motel room in fayettevill north carolina. Just a few days later she had arrived from germany. from what I understand she went missing on the 12th and wasnt discoverd untill the 21st... even though she did not show up to formation the military company she worked for did not see a reason to go looking for her or to even check in on her in the motel room THEY were paying for. instead just wrote her off as awol and that was it... right now they have no one in custody, there was a letter left appearing to be from the "zodiac" wich is a serial killer from the 60's that was never caught. and warned he would kill again... Did you hear about this?.... I did not untill last night. and as many times as i go into the news and stuff. for some reason it seems as if they are trying to keep this as low profile as they can. im guessing because of the mil not going to look for her when noticed she was missing... i think this is a horrible thing. This is the second pregnant female in the military to be murderderd this year. im sure you all remember maria laudherbach and secar lourean. and what is really sad is they cannot charge whoever did this with the murder of her unborn child in this stae because "he was never breathing". thats what they say.... what are your veiws on not being able to be charged with killing the unborn child?.

That's stupid.. it really does show that the world is run by f*****g idiots.... Why aren't people trying to catch these sick c****, the most terrifying thing is that they never get caught... they could be outside your house right now and you wouldn't know.... creepy...

Here's what's really creepy about it to me. I'm currently working on a novel. Several months ago I wrote a scene almost exactly like what happened to this woman. Pregnant corpse in the tub.

Definitely, a murder is a murder, whether the victim is a full grown human being, or yet unborn. For me, being unborn doesn't reduce a human being into a mere speck of a cell that can be disposed of anytime one wishes. It's really horrible that there are psychopaths on the loose, ready to pounce on any unsuspecting victim. This is now all in the hands of the police, who should exhaust all efforts to catch the culprit and make him/her pay for the crime.

Yes, iagree it is all in the hands of the police now.. I just hope they catch this guy soon.. whoever it was. be it the actual "zodiac" or someone else... IM ganna have to look up this zodiac guy. all i know is hes a serial killer from the 60's who was never caught. i hope it is a fake letter in that case..

It's sad and stupid to think that a fetus does not breath. It breaths but through the mother and they require oxygen to grow and develop so how can they say they can't be considered murdered because they're not breathing, that's plain stupid.

I believe that, if a woman is pregnant, she is pregnant! She's not just a "little bit" pregnant. The killer of this woman, or any woman, who is pregnant should be charged with two deaths. In my state, a killer may be charged if the unborn child is "potentially viable" meaning able to survive outside of the womb at the time it was killed. I do not see how they can determine such a thing these days! If a woman is pregnant and murdered, that is murdering two lives, even if one is not able to survive on it's own. At least that's my opinion. If this female soldier was married, or not married but the father of the unborn child was supportive and loving, he has lost not one person from his life, but two. The charge should be the murder of two lives, not one. I think that law is despicable! How can anyone judge a human life simply because it was "never breathing"?

Yes, i agree with you 100% with the "if it can live on it own outside of the womb" because that would be the same thing as and older gentlemen that just had 2 heartattacks back to back. he can not breath on his own hes on breathing machines. and then someone sneaks in in the middle of the night while hes sleeping and unplugs the machine. he does 5 minutes later from lack of oxegen..... is this not murder??...

This is awful! How could someone not look for her for nine days? unbelievable! I think they should charge who ever did this with murder of that baby. It is to bad the state can't. To me if the mother was planning to have it. It should be murder even if it did not breath air on it's own. It is still breathing it's mama's air. This has to be one sick person to do such a thing. I am sure they will keep this as hush , hush as they can because that is are government for ya.

Thats horriable and SCARY... I think the mil. was trying not to say anything b/c they failed on their part. I'm guessing they were seening that she was pregnant and was afraid or something. anyway, about the charges on a non-breathing child, that is so wrong... they are pretty much breathing whenever they are still in the womb.. how on earth would their heart be working then??? crazy court system we have these days...
