do you put the dust cover on your computer each time you switch off ur system

A dust cover is kind of pointless. Dust really only gets into your computer when it's running and the fans are spinning. If it's off, there are no fans pulling air and dust inside your machine. Obviously you can't use the dust cover when the machine is on as it would block the vents and overheat the machine. I would say the only time it would make sense to use one is if you are leaving the computer for weeks or months.

no i am not put dusk cover on my system becoz its feel odd and very much bored when come remove cover and on ur system. I am dnt like to put dusk ocver my system is mostly on 14 hours in a day

Never ever put a dust cover on your computer after use as it will prevent the heat energy to be radiated off from your computer, and that will make your computer hotter and hotter, and finally one day it will be destroyed! i had a cover but i noticed this fact that it took much time for the heat to cool down!! And so i threw my dust cover! Hope you like my reply!!

Hi knighrider, I still remember when my PC still new, I used to cover it everytime i dont used my PC, and I always clean it, but now, i dont even clean it, just let it on 24 hours a day. thanks and have a nice day to you.

yes i still cover my computer. i do it because the cd drive doenst get dirt on it. Its costly to repair it, so its better to take care. thanks

well,i don't have a dust cover on my pc.I think computers are designed for us to use.No matter how careful you use it ,it can be washed out some days later.So don't care too much about it's appearance,just use it.It will be fine.

There's no need to put the dust cover on your computer unless you live in a very dusty environment or plan not to use your system for several months. Normal use doesn't require it and it's actually okay to leave your computer on overnight if you use it daily.

used to when i got my first computer.Now...no ways.I just spread a large sheet on top of the whole computer.Actually dust covers are in a way harmful.One should not put them on when the computer's heated.

To be honest, barring the odd reboot, I think this PC has been constantly on for around 7 months. ;) I've always got some kind of bandwidth being used, so it never really gets shut down.
