This is an awesome combonation of colors for my Asiatic Lilies. It is a peach outer edges with a yellow inner coloring on the petals. Then there are the deep brown spots on the petals as well that really make it stand out. I love this pattern. Do you notice anything along the lines of oddities with your flowers? Such as color schemes changing over the yeras? These last year had only a fw spots on each petal. Now this year many appeared. Odd but beautiful. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

That's awesome! I've never seen a lily like that. I may have to plant some different kinds next year. It must have something to do with the plant maturing if you didn't have all those spots last year. We change with age, why shouldn't plants?

Thanks for posting the link to that site where you can get the flowers. It is hard for me right now to think about planting flowers until we find a place to move to or until our landlord sees that right now this house is not going to sell.

Do you suppose that they are a virus? I was always told that was what caused the wonderful colors in parrot tulips. I am looking forward to this picture because your description is so inviting.

No it is the color scheme for this variety. it is just that they have a lot more dots this year. More than likely just from being a more mature flower is why. Thanks also. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Now that is a pretty flower. We have 3 or 4 kinds of Lilies planted around the house and yard, but I have not seen any like that before. I love the colors on this one.

I have not noticed any flowers changing over the years- except the Bleeding heart bushes getting much bigger. I have a white bleeding heart and the red one overgrew it- So I will moving the white one this Fall. I love flowers that are 2 colors- I have some decorative tulips this way. Also my hostas. I have a lot of these and some are just big and green- others are white and green and yellow and green.

Wow, thanks for sharing..I am trying to imagine if they have fences to crawl with or they are beside your fence..LOL! I am still desperate about my tulips, not even giving me any flowers yet. It's my first time to plant a flower here and I am wondering why? mY husband told me maybe they are male..LOL!

It depends where you live as far as tulips. they bloom early spring and don't last but a couple weeks. They won't bloom till next spring. The Lilies don't climb on anything. They lean towards the sunshine. Most have a very sturdy long stem as well. These here are in an area that's mostly shaded and I am in the process of moving them to where they get 8 hours or more sun daily. They don't climb but they do lean way into the sunny areas. Okay, here is some yellow. Lovely. These photos you're taking of the lilies look good enough to frame. Do you ever enlarge and print your photos?

The flowers are great. Have you ever taken a picture of the whole flower garden? I would like to see what the whole garden looks like. It's really nice from the shots that you have of the flowers. Are they all together or in different sections in the yard. Anyway when you have the time and the weather is right. Please take a picture of the flower garden. I know that your yard looks really pretty when they have all bloomed. Do you have like a contest for the prettiest yard in the neighborhood. If you do I know that you have one more than once.
