Is There Anyone You Would Give Your Life For?

My answer is quisk and easy. YES. There are two people I would give my life for. First my daughter and second my granddaughter. I will be 62 and I feel I have lived my life. Although I still have a lot of life left, I wouldn't hesitate for a second. If it meant saving my daughter so my granddaughter would have her mommy, YES! If it meant saving my granddaughters life, YES! She is a two year old who was a 'Preemie' and has had a rough time. Doing everything late and now speech and hearing problems. God sent her to us for a special reason. She is our special Angel. And her Nana's heart. All of my kids are grown and families now. I am not married. I know this is a hard question and even harder to answer. But give it a try.

This actually isn't that hard a question, i would and in fact have given my life for one of my children. When i had my youngest son i had placenta previa and was hemorrhaging the doctor said that he probably couldn't save us both, i told him to save my baby NO MATTER WHAT! I did indeed die on the table and he was born without vital sings, somehow they did save us both but if they could have only saved one of us i had lived my life and he deserved a chance to have his. So yes i would indeed give my life for my children or my grandchildren without a second thought!

I think the only person I would give my life for, would be my father. When I think about my dad dying it just eats me up inside. When I think about my mother dying it doesn't have the same affect. Don't get me wrong, I love them both sooooo much, I guess it's just because I have a feeling that my dad will die before my mom and I haven't put much thought into what would happen after my mom is gone.

I think those of us who have kids the answer was easy. And for grand kids too. My daughter and I are best friends and she is the mommy of my granddaughter. My 'Little Angel' has just started her life...I love her dearly. Thank you for your comment.

Since my dad has already passed and my mom is in her 80's and bad health I still must chose my daughter and granddaughter. I love my mom but we are not close at all. My best, Janet

I don't have any children, so I would say my mother. She has been the best (parents) both mom and dad to me and my siblings. She deserves so much and I gladly would give my life up for her.

Not a hard question and the answer is easy. I've known the answer to this question for many years. Its YES! I'd give up my life for my son, and now also for my grandaughters if necessary. I'll be 49 next month, also not married, and while I guess I'm not quite done with my life, the last ten years haven't been easy with my disability. So it wouldn't really be a tough decision on my part if I had the chance to save their lives. I've often heard of people who rush back into a burning home to save their dog too. I know how I am, and I'd probably be one of those on the evening news. LOL Although since I have 11 pets in all I probably wouldn't make it back out with all of them.

Everyone seems to have the same answer if they have children. Or grand kids. But that is what we do as parents and grand parents. I don't think anyone is finished with their life quite yet. You sound like a very dedicated dad and grandpa. And as for your pets, they are your family too. Janet

yes- only 2 people. My son, he's 15 months old, has given me a new outlook on life. I truly truly understand unconditional love after having him. He lights up my life 24-7 and there's nothing I wouldn't do to ensure his well being. Second, my husband. He is the love of my life, my best friend, my confidante, my partner in crime, my soul mate. He would do the same for me.

Oh geez, where do I begin? I wouldn't hesitate to give my life for my children and for each of my grandchildren. I would give my life for my husband, too, because we met late in life and he is so special to me. I know that I could do this because each and every one of them is a light that shines in my heart and, without any one of them, I would never be the same again.

My daughter and I have been so much together she would be my first choice. But my granddaughter is 'The Brightest Star in My Sky'. She owns my heart! Thanks, Janet

Just as easy for me to answer as well. My children, my nieces and nephews, any child I would lay my life down for. My hubbs, my sister, my family without question I would lay my life aside for them. I would not hesitate, I wouldn't bat an eye lash, not even a moments breath.

this is an easy one. i dont think i could limit this question for one person, which is the hard part. i would definetly give my life for my family (anyone in my family - family is really important to me) and my boyfriend, who has been my bestfriend lately. i really love these people and they make me who i am. i would not mind giving up my life to protect these people in any situation. i dont know what i would do without them. i would be a hopeless mess.

Certainly! I'll give my life for my Mama, my Papa, my four sisters, my nieces and nephew, my future kids, I'll even consider giving my life to my cousins and friends... I know I'm still young, not yet 30, and I've never done anything really important in this world. Dying for my loveones is one important deed that I'm ready and willing to do... I love my Mama so much, there's no doubt I'll give my life for her... I love all the members of my family... :)
