weee and booyah i drove The Check this morning!! granted it was only in my driveway but i dont give a crap LOL it runs!! when it was dropped off yesterday, after taking a good look at the engine.. i fully expected to be clearing out rodents nests and finding all the wires gnawed out and that the guy mal bought it from having fibbed about its condition.. but no!! a charge of the battery and some gas in the tank and it turned right over! not exactly purring like a kitten.. needs new filters and other junk so its kinda skippy.. but not too damned bad for a nearly 40 year old clunker now to make this a discussion so peoples dont b|tch.. you ever restored a classic? how long did it take you from start to finish? got before and after pics to share? this is my virgin run of it.. and im positively giddy!
