How Did You Practice Writing for the GRE?

I bought one of those books to practice for the GRE. For the vocabulary/reading portions, they have a lot of good explanations and then answers for everything. But of course, for writing there is no single correct answer. So what did you do to study writing? I'm planning to send my practice essays to at least one of my friends to help grade them. Nearly all of my friends are better at English than me, so hopefully that will be helpful.

I could only imagine! I'm studying the vocabulary and only know about half of the words already. It makes me feel like I'm learning a new language. I don't know how people learn these words when it's a second language to them.

you are preparing for the GRE test, aren't you?INdeed,I am,too It seems you process ahead of me ,and I am busy reciting those crazy words. maybe frequently visiting mylot and starting a discussion and responding is a good and effective way to boost you writting ability. you can also search for some penpal, and try to write with them.(such as me ) The more you practice ,the more progress you will make. believe youself.. you can manage it.
