I like how the characters' stories intertwine, but the black-and-white color effect bothers me. What about you?

This movie is so freaking awesome. The visual aspect of it is amazing. And all of the stories are brilliant and it was definitely like a film noir, which I love. Marv is my favorite character because his story was sad. But the really cool part was the scene with Dwight and Jackie Boy in the alley with all the girls. I heard they are making a sequel and I can't wait for that.

I loved 'sin city' it as close as you can get to having a graphic novel come alive! It really stays with the comic in terms of style and tone. I cant wait for the sequel.

oh no, i really liked this movie. the cinamatography was fabulous. i thought it brought out more of the comic the way they did it. i watched way after it hit the theatres and thought i was going to be disappointed but all in all it was a great movie. with the flare of pulp fiction and the comic vibe - i thought it was just a great movie. i especially like the fact that frodo never had any lines. the gore was greatly portrayed. and just the characters were rich and deep. i didn't like the yellow guy who was looking for jessica alba's character because i couldn;t figure out who played the character. if you know who he was could you let me know?

I thought Sin City was fantastic. Now I'm not saying it's the best movie ever. In fact I've only watched it twice. I do think Robert Rodriguez is the man and he continues to push the envelope of movies. Did you know Robert Rodriguez lost his membership in the Directors Guild of America because of this movie. Yep, there is this rule that you can only have one director for the movie and Rodriguez insisted that Frank Miller get a co-director credit. The Guild threatened him and he left saying "I don't make movies to be in some club". Than my friends is BA. The movie is meant to be an adaptation of the Frank Miller graphic novel and as such is about as faithful as you can get. I think the over-the-top storytelling method of this flick works well. The cast is amazing and star studded to say the least. Overall the movie good and I can't wait to see the second one!
