Discount on gas prices if you pay in cash

i am just surfing on interenet i saw a news that in some states gasstation giving discounts on gas prices if you pay them in cash. what you think about that... is use of credit card is one of the reason of being high gas prices what you think what is better paying in cash or with card keeping in mind that you get discount if you pay in cash.

Well in my country weather or not you pay with cash or card it doesn't matter, you don't get a discount. But if it were so i would pay by cash all the time.

in my opinion everbody go for cash .. as gas prices are really going very high and if you get little better price if you pay in cash who wants to miss that chance ... thanks for response... and hope gas prices will go down ...

I don't think it's a discount for gas so much as paying more for credit cards. I see: $4.25 cash $4.35 credit card at some of the stations where I live. Credit card companies do charge the stations to process the credit cards so it does cost them money. I try to have cash for money and food. Now that I have three part-time jobs, that isn't as hard as it used to be. Take care
