july 10 is my birthday and i turned 38. i am proud of what i've done with my life so far. i dont look like 38 but i am still 38. i have four children who are all teens and i am a single mom. sometimes i am scared that i might not get my children all to finish school but i need to think positively and have faith. though i am not rich and still trying to make both ends meet still i am happy and i Thank God that i am healthy.

thanks for the flowers, lucky it is just in the net for i have asthma and real flowers triggers it. lol. that is so sweet of you. atlast i got a cake without adding weight on me and a bunch of flowers that didnt cost me ashtma. thanks friend.

thank you for reminding me that i can't be old. yes i think so. having four teens around me makes me feel younger. with the music they play around the house, the choices of movies to watch. i even watch hanna montana.... do you believe that? lol. i even watch cartoons of disney, tom and jerry and japanese anime. i still watch something that is appropriate with my age like csi and house but having teens around me really makes a big difference

And, after they grow up, grandchildren give you still more excuses to watch cartoons. I love watching Sponge Bob and Dora the Explorer with my grandson...and CSI and House, too. I think that after the grandkids are grown I'll be able to continue watching cartoons because I'll be senile by then.

yes, i am happy on what me and my children life turned out to be. it is not easy but atleast we are on the right track. we came out of a house where the head of the family is an abusive man and now we are much better living away from him. yes i am still a kid, kid at heart lol.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY! 38 is NOT old. Hell, 48 isn't even old anymore! More and more people are waiting until their older to start getting in shape & living healthy lives. Having four kids (TEENS!)and taking care of them on your own......THAT is an awesome achievement! GOOD FOR YOU!

I am 38 this year and I know how it feels. I have 2 children and is still struggling to stay sane on top of managing a household. But when the kid are older, I think I will return to work so that I have the money to make myself pretty and bring back some of the freedom that I have enjoyed before the children came along. Till then, crossing my fingers for you and for me. :)

hello cathy. how old are your children? lucky you for just having two, i have four 17, 16, 14, 12 can you imagine them when they are still toodlers. but still i manage to stay sane and pretty lol. i make sure i am always happy even i have a lot of problems. yes goodluck to the both of us we'll both keep out fingers cross, thanks for the response

Happy Birthday!!! My wife's bday is July 10 too. It is her 34th Birthday today. Well that's one thing in life we cannot avoid at all getting older by the year. But anyway you do have many accomplishments already having 4 kids growing up with you I guess make the best out of it already.

lol that is true happy people looks younger. having teens in the house also makes me feel younger. i still watch kiddie and teen shows... like those anime and cartoons. it is fun having them around lucky for me that they are good teens and not head achesfor i am sure i would look like 50 by now. thanks you very much secret have a nice day

yeah. mingling with younger people makes one feel like their age. one of my not-so-old officemates jokingly tells other people of her age that she hangs out with us because she feels younger. you are blessed with good children roni.

i did have agreat day, although it rained hard at the evening still me and my children had a great time. we ate dinner at a chinese restaurant. i am confused about your response i think you forgot to press another number. you said your bestfriend celebrates her birthday the same day i did, she is 2 years old with three children. is she 22 or 32? hope she had a blessed birthday and i hope we both have a fruitful year ahead.

Ha, we are the same age!! I turned 38 on the 27th of june and I don't feel old but my age does increase by the year. That is good to know that things are well for you and your holding down the fort. So you have a great birthday and I wish many more too you.

yes i have a long way to go, so it is bad to think that i am old. though i said i am old in a funny and humorous way. but glad to see that all the responders told me that i am not old and that is really a good feeling. a lot of people here like you had ispired me with life. true, that age is just a state of mind and that we dont have to mind it. lol. thanks for the response and the greeting as well.

i can also feel like that in some days. i feel like 90 on days that i am so tired and depressed and feel 16 on days when i feel happy happy joy joy . but life still goes on and my children are my insperation to have a smile on my face when i wake up in the morning. a reason to wake up with strenght to face another battle of life. thanks for the greeting and for the response

that is true, life is a learning process continously. life has a lot to offer although i had miss alot of it for i am busy i know there are still time to enjoy it in the future. God is always at my side and i am sure about that and my children are my insperation. yes as long as we are alive problems come and go but that is what makes life worth living. thanks for the response and the greeting too.

of course you are not in trouble. you just start to have a family late than me. i was 22 when i got pregnant with my second born, maybe thats why i feel old because i started earlier. but no matter if we start early or late as long as we make our children our inspiration so we can feel young. wink wink wink. i wish you good health and a bouncing baby. thanks for the response

Happy birthday to you. I know how you feel iturned 40 this year, i am a single mom too and i have a 8 year old daughter. Iam not rich and have a bad health. Sometimes i worry about what will happen with my daughter when i can take care of her anymore.

Happy Birthday!!! WOW 4 teens children and a single mom, keeping your insanity means you have to be doing something right. I am a single mom of 1 (a 9 yr old) and the teenage years I try not to think about (except sending her to military school ;) )

do i sound like i am not insane yet? if i do, then thank you lol. sometimes i feel like i am insane for i have a lot to think about but still make sure not to take things so serious and just have a good laugh. my children keep me sane. they are teens but not like other teens you may have known. they help me around the house we have chores to take care of. so having them is more on a warm embrace than a head ache. thanks for the greeting and for the response too.
