My daughter the tattle tell

My daughter has been cracking me up lately. Anytime I scold her over something she runs to her daddy crying to tell on me. Of course hubby just eats this up because she is especially affectionate towards him as she tattles on me. I can always hear them in the next room, Hubby saying "What's wrong sweetheart? What did mommy do?" and then I hear my daughter start with "But mommy....(as her voice trails off)". Even though she might be in trouble it cracks me up everytime she does this. Do your kids ever tattle on you?

I remember when our daughters were home, they did the same thing. There is just some kind of special bond between a father and his daughters. They love the sympathy they got from their Father. LOL

My daughter does the same thing only it's to both of us. She's an equal opportunity tattler as she'll tell on me, her father, or her brother. She comes to us saying "hit me, he hit me" and expect me to kiss her better.

Your daughter is learning the fine art of playing one side against the other...

My son always tells me "I tell Nahma!!" and then calls my mom. It's hilarious. If my dad answers the phone, he sometimes hangs up on my son, because my son talks so quietly. By the time he talks to my mom, he usually forgets what he is in trouble for anyway, though. Today he called Nahma because I got onto him for repeatedly taking his underwear off when he was supposed to be napping (he still has accidents when he is asleep, even though he's day time potty trained). He was a little disappointed when Nahma agreed that he should leave his underwear on!

My 8 year old is a major tattle tale. He is always coming in and whining about his baby sister beating him up. She is 17 months old. She has not learned to tattle yet really.

when my little girl was a toddler she did the same thing, she was daddys girl plain and simple. I think most daddys are partial to their little girls and thats just great I think.
