I never know that there are software collectors....oohh my. I am intrigued, what do you do with those old softwares that you have in your collections, like dino-era type DOS based, Window 3.x, Win95 based applications...? Most of those softwares aren't even working on new platforms. What do you do with them?

I am a frequent visitor of that site. I can get there the latest versions of tested and reliable programs as well as their revision history. If the new one don't work for me I could always get the previous version and reinstall it. Even CNET Download.com link to that site and other reliable software review sites. There are evaluation programs as well as freeware and it's free from any malware.

Hey there. Thank you for sharing those information. I surely am a software collector. I store some of them out of convenience. In this way, I can use them whenever I want. However, the other day, my system was attacked by a virus that infect all the exe files. That was a disaster.

Thanks for the advice, but I am more into the full version on CD at a yard sale. I have tons and tons of programs, from windows 95 to the Adobe CS2 Creative Suite.
