hahaa yes i do somtimes. when people say her name without seeing her, they ask boy or girl? LMAO...and some just assume shes a boy... her name is kenzel what would you think the gender of a child is with that name? i mean i think the middle name gives it away Merea is her middle name... I do love her name still to this day but i think somtimes i would have like to go with somthing more girly:P... I hope she likes her name when she gets older:(.lol

I love my daughters name. I am really glad we went with it. We had originally came up with Brooke. But after hearing it SOOO much I said to my husband I don't want her to have a really popular name. I did and I hated it growing up. Every one was always asking which Erika. Yeah and my mom spelled my name with a 'k' instead of a 'c' so every one still spells my name wrong. I didn't want any of that for my daughter. So I got to thinking about family names. I didn't really like any one name so I took my great grandparents and put part of there names together to come up with Luann. Now my issue is because Luann is NOT a popular name I really couldn't find a 'traditional' spelling for it. So I went with Luann - every one spells is Louann. So I feel bad about that because like I said I would have liked the traditional spelling but I guess I can't change it now. Either way I love her name: Luann Grace.

My step kids are Brianna and Patrick. Brianna is the female version on Brian (my husbands name) and Patrick is also for my husband as he was born on St. Patricks day. Funny thing is before I even knew my husband I always said I wanted a Patrick. I didn't get to name him - but I did get my Patrick.

I love my daughters name I just wish I had not listened to my ex mother in law about how to spell it. I always wanted it spelled differently.

You totaly can change that cant you?.... how old is your daughter though?. i would do it before she learned how to spell it. cant you go down to the court house and ask for a name change?. of course you would have to pay for it..

I like different and original names for kids. Kenzel is different and original. I have a son named Brandon and I always liked the name Breanna. When i was pregnant with my daughter i heard the name Aubrianna and fell in love with it. I was going to call her Aubrie for short. Unfortunately I was outvoted by her father and my friends and family so I ended up with a Breanna. I still secretly call her Aubrie in my mind though =)
