how many icons are there on your desktop?

Well I just counted and I have 31 icons on my desktop. Five of them alone are art programs. Alot of others I see I just have it there and don't use. But I feel that I am just so accustomed to having it there that removing it would just be like an imbalance! lol Even with so many icons though, they always seem to fit perfectly around my desktop backgrounds. Right now I have Batman on there! I'm really looking forward to Dark Knight.

I currently have 7 icons on my desktop. 2 are drives, one is the "Wind in the Willows" audio book, one is a video of my desktop, one is a picture of my cousin (in Mini Mouse ears) and a screenshot of my desktop coming back from blank screen. One is the icon for a finance manager. I need to get rid of most of them, I only have the finance manager up there because for some reason if I don't leave it up there, the icon disappears from my drawer (it's really weird, the icon is still there, I just can't see or access it, but if I place it in there again the original shows up also).

i dont know the exact number but i am sure it not over than 10..i only have less than 2 lines of icons..the reasons are 1. i find it messy to have loads of it 2. i only have the most impt icon that i usually use 3. i dont want to block the wall papaer cos it is my picure!!(this is the main reason i guess!!lols)

i have 30+ icon on my destop. i too don't like to put lots of icon or folder on desktop but sometimes put things on desktop which are important and which are needed regularly. Then i keep on putting lots of things on desktop and my desktop massed up then i have to clean it up one day. cleaning up icon from the desktop is vary hard work for me because everything on desktop looks important to me. i clean then but i alway have at least 20+ icons on my desktop which i regularly need.

I have about 20+ icons on my desktop. I like to have everything I use on a daily basis on my desktop just so its there when i need it and i dont have to go looking for it. its convinient for me to have everything i want on my desktop. i also make files for everything i need instead of using "my documents" and "my pictures". I like to date everything aswell just so i know when its from and when it was taken. im an organized person and you can tell from my desktop. my brother on the other hand, has nothing on his desktop, he looks having nothing there except his recycle bin. I hate that because you have to go looking for everything you need when you can just have it on your desktop. but i guess everyone is different with how they use their computer and what they want on their computer and desktop.

i have 26 icon on my desktop but my sister have only 5 i think you will like her desktop a lot
