Who here remembers the first race they went to. Mine was seeing the indycars at Elkart Lake, WI. I hope the IRL will start going to that track its one of the most beautiful and challenging tracks around the country. The thing I remember the most about it was going over the hill to the starting line up for the indycars and thinking that they weren't the indycars because they looked so much bigger on TV. I think Emerson Fittipaldi won the race. The first nascar race I saw was at Michigan. The traffic was the worst i have ever seen ever. We didn't get in until the 40th lap and then we were in a traffic jam for hours after the race. So I was just interested on what other peoples first race was and what do they remember about them.
