Have you ever made Tapas? They are the little appetizer plates that the Spanish eat. I have a cookbook that is all about making them, but I havent made any yet. If you made them did they turn out well?

They are like appetizers. Like if you are in a restuarant you can order several plates. They dont cost very much for each plate, and they are things like sauteed garlic mushrooms or lime drizzled shrimp. If you get a chance go to a spanish (not mexican) rest. and try them they are delicious!!

Unfortunately we don't have any Spanish restaurants in our area.

I've never made them myself, but I've had them in Spain, they are really great, are they hard to make?

I was just looking at the cookbook. Some of them dont look too hard. Maybe if I get inspired and can find the ingredients I'll try making something this weekend. My son's coming to visit so it's kind of special.

I have never made Tapas before. It sounds like it would be an interesting way to do dinner though. That way people can try a bunch of things.

my husband has made tapas for us before now when we've had friends over - he makes it so well with so many nice dishes! I on the other hand am not so good at the cooking so I leave well alone!! x
