Mom and Dad...

Today i was just gong through some photo albums nad there i saw pictures of my mom dad brother and me...we were all playing carrom..then we were on a picnic on a beachside ..and their were so many moments in the photographs where we all were so happy and together a complete family..now we all are scttered away me with my husband and my brother on his job and parents are alone..my heart goes out to them and i miss them so much...i miss the old times and remember how much fun it was being together..climbing my dads back and sleeping in my moms lap...the gentle oil massage mom used to give ...and the late night study sessions my dad used to sit with us before exams..i miss my parents a lot and long to be with them...do you miss your younger days with your mom and dad? does the memories of the old days bring tear to your eyes?

Before marriage i never used to cook, my mom used to do all the cooking. I really miss the tasty food prepared by her.I was always late and used to miss my school bus. Then my dad used to drop me to school.I really miss my parents.

yes dear same here even i used to just do the eating part and never enter the kitchen..but now over the years i have learnt ..i also miss the carefree days and tasty food ..take care dear

I too have a lot of memories of my childhood. I was brought up by my foster parents who are no more. We lived in a lovely cottage when we were small and I remember the flowers and fruits that we grew in the garden. Since I was the youngest at home I would naturally get all the fruits to eat. And we 7 siblings would play a lot of indoor games together.

carrom! i've not known anyone else to play that game. we used to play it too. and i remember jumping up on my dad's back wow that was a long time ago.

yes dear those days were simpler lives and small joys of spending quality time with family..my brother was not very good so he used to try flicking them from the board and it wa good fun filled afternoons...my dad also plays very well..now tims are changing..life is getting too fast..
