athlete's foot

I heard that you can get foot athlete(fungus) from the shower's drain or any drains where you showers or baths from the person who has fungus that using the same showers or baths. What do you think?

I also have heard that you can get it from a shower. This is why when you use a public shower (like we have at college) they advise us to wear "shower shoes". It is also a problem at shoe stores; that is why they have the little nylon stockings to wear when you try shoes on.

At shoe store, some people they just try shoes on without the stockings. So you may never know what's in it.

Athlete's foot is caused by a few fungi and also some types of yeast. It is typically transmitted in moist areas where people walk barefooted, showers, locker rooms, etc, you don't have to be near a drain.. It can also live in footwear and wet towels.

That's why it is best not to share towels with someone and may catch some other things too.
