I would just like to ask you all, have you tried rejecting a friend request here and have you been rejected on your request? What do you do for friends who rarely respond to your discussion or never reply at all?
From the time i joined here, i have never rejected any friend requests and never deleted anyone on my list. I don't know, but i guess i just want more friends even if they're far from where i am or haven't seen them personally or even on pictures. Even in real life, i am very friendly..they say..Well, this is just the way that i am. I hate the feeling of being rejected but don't want to push hard if the person doesn't really like me.
How about you guys? Have experienced being rejected?Pls. do share your thoughts on this?

i never rejected a friend request here in mylot... i like to have online friend and deal with them... i think, its more interesting and fun sharing our different cultures here. that, i don't take much on the persons propfile... what i want is to have more friends here...
on the other hand, i have never been denied for the friend request here. that i was very thankful to those people who added me eventhough we didn't know each other personally...

Same here dear c",) It's wonderful how people wants to be your friend though not seeing each other personally. Like you said, it's fun to have more friends here.

I do agree and i would be disappointed too... I guess they have their reasons also why they would reject a friend request. But like you i am open to all people here who would love to be my friend. Thanks for being one dear friend c",)

I have rejected requests for friends and friends but only when I saw the type of questions they were asking, if they were trying to get you to join money making sites using them as a referral or they started spamming me when they became my friend, I remove them.

It amazes me when I see someone who has been a member for a long period of time, and has 200 friends, has answered 5 discussions and started non. I wonder why they want more friends.

So far, i have not be rejected or reject anybody requesting to be frenz, in mylot.. hehe ^_^ ANd also, i'm a person whom doesn't know how to say no to ple.. lol
But in reality, i'm also the same, i dun reject ple or things that ple ask me to do.. ANd i got rejected once when i asked to be frenz with someone on the street.. lol

Oh dear Kun you are such a nice person, too bad for that someone on the street, lost their chance to know a nice person like you... That happens sometimes but i totally respect them for their decisions. anyway it's their loss not mine, right?

I don't really reject anyone but if they're inactive for more than 4 weeks or I notice they're not responding to my discussions but respond to others, I'll delete them. I try to respond to all my friend' discussions at least one per day. Some of my friends are very prolific, writing ten-twenty discussions a day! I can't respond to all of them sometimes.
So no, I don't reject friends but I am selective after I approve them.

I do feel guilty with that too dear, i wish i could reply to all my friend's discussions but just couldn't find the time to. Maybe i should try harder, they might be offended.Thanks for sharing dear c",) you take care ok?

i have always been accepted. i have never yet rejected. but there is one that i deleted because he wasn't interested in anyone but only interested in selling things.

Like you I have never rejected any friend requests. I deleted one though when she was very rude on one of my discussions and I wasn't happy with how bad she talked to me. I am a friendly person too and I don't want people bad on my site. I accept anyone whatever race and wherever they are.

I do not reject a friend request. I have not been rejected either. If they don't reply to my post it's okay I feel they have nothing to say on what I posted yet. I post to theirs if I have something to say and it gives me more post to reply to when I see they have posted something. I have met many people, not as many as some or even most of you have.
I am a friendly person and usually don't have a problem making friends. I wouldn't worry about being rejected, some people reject a friendship because they think you have nothing in common by reading what you have written.

well i have not yet rejected any friend requests. having only sent one request, i'm glad to say i wasn't rejected either.
whether friends respond or not is not an issue for me. i don't respond to all their discussions either. it's better to not respond than to respond with something totally irrelevant if i've got nothing to say. that said, i do appreciate friends who responded to my discussions. cheers

Yes, I denied 4 friends already. I don't know I just don't feel them adding me as if they know me. I want friends who invite me who's Filipino just like me. It doesn't mean you approve friends because you're a FRIENDLY. That's not the main reason.
There are people, for example, in Friendster...people is just counting their friends on their friendlists. What's the use of having hundreds of friends in friendster even you didn't know them. Huh?
For me, I don't like friends adding me here just because they saw my pic. I just don't feel it, I don't know them either, I prefer adding friends who post their "REAL" pic than using other pictures.

Hello dear c",) i do respect your opinion regarding this matter... And you do have point too. But i think it's not bad if they prefer not to reveal their real pictures here, they too have reasons, so i guess it's better to respect their privacy... Just my thoughts dear, i hope we could be friends here.

I actually have rejected some :)) it really depends on your display picture :) if it's repulsive i naturally reject... and i haven't been rejected as far as i recall, since i rarely request friendship!

Hi mycharm, I have never rejected a friend request here on myLot, and I've never had a friend request rejected. I have however, deleted friends who hadn't commented on any of my discussions after a period of time. We all like to have friends but if they don't want to get involved in discussions, it isn't much point. Blessings.

That's alright dear i do understand your point. Not all people here lasts, people just come and go. Some might be inactive at some point and would then later come back but some would just be gone. Thanks for sharing your thoughts my friend.

I haven't been rejected myself yet, but won't be offended if I am. I have rejected several people myself as friends. If I get a friend request that I don't know I will go to their page and see what they are like, their age and the topics and answers they have given. If I don't see that we have anything in common I reject. I have also rejected several teenager boys who have sent thru friend requests. As a woman with an adult son and two grandaughters, I don't feel its right to have teenage boys listed as friends - and its not like we would have anything at all in common.

Oh! i do respect that dear, but i'm thankful that you're in my list. That means we have something in common or at least share some interests..c",)I use to accept immediately every request but now i do check the persons profile first but always end up accepting their requests. thanks dear and Great things to come for you!c",)

I have not tried rejecting anyone who requested me to be their friend, Most of the time, I'll be a request from new members and I always approve it and turn on the notification so I can track their discussions.
I also don't know if I was rejected in all of my request since when I started and until not, I am trying to just add friend a lot and I don't memorize if everyone approve it..LOL! If ever I was rejected, no big deal for me, I know they have reasons and truth is I won't be hurt, it's different when it is real friend! I am also sensitive but not in online stuff!

Dear friend,
I have not yet rejected any of mylot friends, in real life too had not rejected any friends but I do keep a distance to some of friends who have other illegal connections and illegal activities and once I had told they could be caught by police and would get serious punishments. After they did not stop that illegal activities I had kept a distance and some friends I do keep distance to have better relationship if they too close they tend to make be available whenever they want they may take all my needed this so on. But do appreciate the good qualities of a good friend too. I do like making good friends with good intentions.

I never rejected a friendship request from any myLot user. I have only a few friends here and many of them rarely respond to my discussions. But I never deleted them from my friend's list and will not delete any just because they are not responding to my discussions.

Hi there!
I haven't been rejected yet and I'm glad about it. Surely I would feel bad and embarrassed if I'm being rejected. I have never also rejected a friend request. It is also a nice feeling of someone sends you a request. I'm kinda proud of it if someone wants me to be their friend so I always accepts all friend requests.
