I prefer night dreaming to day dreaming.The reason why is because at night I am asleep longer so if it is a really intense dream I will actually get to finish it before I have to wake up.

Hmm it's quite hard to decide hehe. The good thing about daydreaming is you are in total control most of the time about what you want to dream about, whereas in the nocturnal dream it's the unconscious that plays a major role. Oftentimes with the latter we have no control over what appears in our dreams. But to answer your question, I really like both. I find that my nocturnal dreams do give me a message so it's always a challenge for me trying to find out what they mean for me personally. But having said that, I do not discount the revealing characteristic of daydreams. Daydreams do contain the elements of our unconscious too - some thoughts come unbidden although we partly choose what we daydream about. The other good thing about daydream is the obvious one - we often remember what we dream about, whereas in the nocturnal dream type, there is a problem of recollection. Sometimes we remember them upon waking up, sometimes we don't. And wow I can't believe I wrote something that long about it. Lol. Maybe I dream too much!
