Just because we are now in the modern world??!!

I have this girl friend who is naughty and aggresive. She always sort for fun. Always on the go and really love adventures in life. She loves to enjoy life and always looks for challenges. For her. gone are those conservative days when a notion girls should stayed at home. She embraces and leads an aggressive, bold and daring life. For her, this is how a woman should be in this modern world. She even smiled to see or knew a girl who still live conventionally or conservatively. Everytime we had a talked, I just managed to smile. As a woman myself, maybe she has a point. But does it mean that we really have to go for this kind of life just because as what everybody says "we are now in the modern world"? What do you think fellows?

well modernism does not mean being over adventurous...defination of modernism may differ from region to region and differ from one country to another..i am also a strong beliver of womens lib or empowerment like they have equal rights and freedom of speech and freedom to education, freedom of all kinds of jobs, but sadly some people take modernism in the wrong things they think boozing and fagging is mod which is not it is just a habit, they think wearing revealing clothes is being modern which is again a personal choice...i think modenism is the state of mind and not really how you dress and look..

Hi sweetbarbie, your girl friend has a different and unique perception in life. I can tell she is enjoying her life to the fullest. But being a girl you still have to conserved your life and dignity. It's hard to be misunderstood some times. We can enjoy our life, but it's not because we are in the modern world we have to go with the flow and just live our life as it is. We have to look upon our selves. We are the one controlling our lives, so whenever we made some mistakes we can never blame anyone but ourselves. My point here is tell your friend to be simple and learn how to manage her self and life. This is only my perspective in life. Thanks and keep on posting!

Its nice to live life the way your friend does and that's the way we should live. I'm not sure about whether you should do it because we are in the modern world. I think you should live you life the way you think is best for you. If you think leading it conventionally is good then it is.
