YEAH!! I can't WAIT - a GREAT STORYLINE FOR OLTL!!

I just heard from this soap.net program that as OLTL celebrates their 40 year birthday, Rex and Bo are "going back to 1968". Now, that could just mean that they are going to host a special show about the beginnings of OLTL, nice, but will probably be boring, but what my first thought was - back in the 80's they did a time travel show where Clint went blind and had an accident where he "went back" to the cowboy days where the buchannans "started". He met Vicki's grand mother times.... whatever, and nearly married her, but Vicki found this Indian that could transport her and as they were about to say "I do", Vicki walks in and of course it all goes back to current day....
But Rex and Bo are a great duo and I hope they can send the two of them back to 1968 nad have them figure out how to make BE "work" without all the common day technologies and such. Looking forward to a g reat story and a way out of this constant Todd trashing everybody and and the Natalie/Jess thing and the rest of current "I'm bored, can we PLEASE move on!" storylines the show currently has!
Anyone else heard any "previews"?

I just read that Bo and Rex will be struck by lightning and transported to another time. I hope it is done well. I like to see that kind of flashbacky stuff, but only if done well.
I am so over Tessica it's not even funny. Natalie and Jared, enough already.

I really enjoyed the time travel one they did back in the 80's where CLint was blind and fell off his horse at the AZ ranch and he "time traveled" back to the 1800's when "ASA" was his grandfather (if I remember correctly!). I think they did that really well. It was fun and just a great change of pace. Them going back to 1968 (that is a long time ago for some!) could be something about BE when it first startd and no modern technology - but just think of hte things they will show from that era...clothes, ways, all the things that were in 1968 - that will be fun to watch! Many are going to be saying "You mean they did it that way back then?". I hope it is done well and will be a good "vacation" from the current dulldrums!

Well, whatever happens to send them there will happen in Paris, TX - that is where Bo is...so says the clues from the pshyic! She is cool - plays a fantastic part - almost believable!
