Off to the beach!!

I love going to the beach when I'm on holiday and even sometimes at home although it's quite fare for me to go to get to our nearest beach!
However when my parents in laws go to the beach they take so much stuff it actually becomes a chore and a pain! Windbreakers, bowls, rackets, towels you name it they take it!
So what kind of person are you? A simnple grab your towel and go kind of person or a pack half your house before you set off?

I live in Florida and we have many beaches around here which offer whatever you might need while you're there within a short walk so we don't take much...towels, maybe a folding chair or two. When we were up north we used to go to a small beach that had nothing nearby so then we had to take a cooler and food along with towels and stuff.

Yea it makes sense to take a lot of stuff when the beach that you go to is far out but my parent in laws used to take all this stuff when they were going to beaches that were rammed and had loads of shops and amenities nearby! x

Becasue I live in a a lake community, I go to the beach often like 3 or 4 times a week in the summer. I keep my beach items packed in the car at all times so I can be ready. I take towel, sunscreen, beach chair and a float of some sort but I dont always use it. If I dont keep my items packed I will forget to bring something adn I will be mad about it so it is just easier for me to keep the things packed.

Thats a good way of doing things - I think if I lived near enough to the beach to go 3 or 4 times a week then I would probably keep stuff in the car to use too! x

Towels and sunscreen is ok but it's all the heavy stuf I can't be bothered with!
I too live quite far but when on hols it's mainly just me and my towel! : )

Oh I too love going to the beach. but I do not get there too often, it is very far for me to go to the beach. But I would live there if I was ble. I do not need a lot when I go, just give me a towel,and a small bag with a bit to eat, because I do like to stay there as long as I can.

Yep I like to do the whole day thing too - I like to be able to swim and then dry off in the sun so just the one twoel to lie on is enough for me!! x
