is there hope for our country?

i am a filipino and, nowadays, i'm always asking this question to myself. corruption in our country is getting worse and worse everyday. and it appears that the one who should prevent it is the one actually corrupting these government officials. let me ask the question again. is there hope for my country, my beloved Philippines.
i'd like to hear from my fellow filipinos and to all mylotters worldwide.

There's hope..a lot Filipinos are still saying it. but you know what the problem is, a lot more are not doing something about it. most are really just good for complaining. and protesting..people are fed up with this, and i came to realize that most of them had become pessimistic in regards to our country. but since am filipino, i believe it's not too late, there's hope and we'll get there some day.

We must have hope my friend. Don't lost hope, that our country will be a better country.
We hope that there is a politicians that really know the value of progress and give more important for development. A President that no other aims but to serve the people, not to serve the political party.

It is really a big mistake for us to choose a President that doesn't know what the masses feel about?
The President should not influence by her party, so that she can serve the nation well. The problem is that she herself not fulfilling any words that she promise...?
We need a leader that never influence by political party but for loyalty to the country and serve for the country...right?

There's always hope...We should do our part to help our country progress...In the coming 2010 election, let's vote wisely...Vote for those we think are responsible, intelligent and not corrupt...

these things are happening in america as well - it is scary to see how history has played out so many times before more brutal and more extreme than the last one. things are coming into play - all i can say is be patient. apparently america is merging with canada and mexico. and the americans dont even know it. due to the wording of the documents. there goes my neighborhood. anyways. like i said just chill for a while and watch. things are going to start to happen. big things. --
