She didn't bleed on their "First Night"

A friend of mine from highschool got married. Iv'e known her as very conservative. She really stick to the idea that her virginity or the pruity of a woman consider the best gift a woman can give to her husband. Her bf,they lasted for almost 4 years and really respected her that much. They just limit their intimacy to petting and necking. After their wedding they took a vacation for their honeymoon. After 2 weeks,I was surprised to have her in our house,crying and confiding to me that they had a fight between her husband. She didn't bleed during their firs night! Her husband was unconvinced of her virginity. He pester her asking her to tell the truth. This make their marriage unbearbale. I believed her when she says she neve had sex with other men. But no matter how she convince her husband, he didn't beleive her. As for me, Iv'e learned and encounter such problem, there are really claims that not all virgin really bleed. So I just advice her to take her husband in a medical expert in this field to have a better explanation. How about you guys, is this really normal? have you encounter such stuff also? And on the other hand,is her husband reasonable to act or feel this way?
