I wonder where do the tags for the responses go?

Hi friends. I was just replying to a discussion when I was asked to write a tag to my reply. I was just wondering where do these tags go? The tags which the discussion initiator adds appear right below the first discussion, but the tags which are added by the repliers are not seen anywhere. What use of putting it then. Can somebody enlighten me on this?

Only the first five tags will show up in the discussion. If there are fewer than five showing and people who respond adds new tags, those tags will appear, but if there are already five tags on view I think the new tags will be added but are not visible.
There is a maximum number of ten tags per member for each discussion but I have been told that all the tags added are stored, so if a hundred people respond to a discussion and they all add tags, there could be hundreds of tags for that one discussion.

WOW!! You seem really knowledgeable about it all!!
So it would make sense to add tags only if there aren't 5 visible already?
Is it possible to find your posts/discussions you answered via tags too? (Or maybe they will someday make it possible?)

I think that it goes to a hiden record or it's being compared to whatever tags already exsist for the topic..
so if you add new tags that sound more fitting to a discussion it's added to the main topic tags.. 
i think it works this way..

I don't seem to see the extra tags appear in the main discussion. I wonder where it goes.

Absolutely no idea. I am too curious about where would the tags be. It may well be possible as a fellow mylotter had responded that the tags could be added to this discussion but laid hidden.

WOW!! Thanks for asking this question... cause I was wondering the same... :)
& then I came across a new discussion, & was the first to post there, & my tags appeared underneath the original post... :)
So now it makes sense!! Thanks!!
