Well, I could put it this way. I divide into two when I meet someone I really really admire. The first one, which is mostly almost subconscious, says "Oh my God, it's her! She smiled! What to do? what to say?" in a panicky way. This is where the loss of control starts and makes a tendency to slip out on a conversation and just babble most of the time. The other one is the controller. I try to control the situation by thinking rational and realistically. I just let it control my honesty and have a good chat. It should balance out the other one and make things natural and normal. After the conversation, I admit, I usually tend to analyze how it went. Was it a good conversation? Was I acting normally? did I give any clues whatsoever? Well that's all, take care bro. c'ya!

Hey, you got it exactly. I applaud your accuracy on that. Yeah, I do worry most of the time. That could be a reason why I take more effort to control it. I do try to be as simple as I can but I'm choosy about the circumstance. =) Thanks!

unfortunately i seem to lack the confidence to talk to others, especially someone i secretly admire, i would probably smile back, say hi, and keep going on my way

I have often met people I admire at conferences and the like and all too often I stumble over my tongue which is caused more by awestuckness than my speech impediment. I'll have something clever to say, meet the person, and lose the ability to speak for several moments. Then they're gone, and I feel like I missed my chance.

I would try to strike a conversation and know the person better. I am sure, being a shy person it won't be that easy for me, but I'll try my best. I would try to find out her feelings for me
