Do you have an irrational fear?

I have a rather irrational fear of heights. Its really very strange if i am inside and look up and see the ceiling it scares the crap out of me but if i'm outside and look up i am just fine.

This ones sort of strange, I dont like to go by lawnmowers, I always think a rock is gonna shoot at me.But I can care less if someones got a problem with me.

I have an irrational fear of bats because I have this imaginary perception that it could attack humans. I also have an irrational fear of roaches and I scream like mad every time I see one!

Mine is Earwigs! I'm fine with any other insect and animal, it's just earwigs. I don't know why but I've had this fear of them all my life. I don't even understand what I'm frightened off. It's not as if they are poisonous. My daughter is like you, she has to 'force' herself to go into stores by herself, but hers extends to anywhere there are a lot of people.

you are right that is irational, its sounds like paranoia but you said it happens only when you are in stores, paranoia is an everyplace kind of thing, what you have is very unique, and so irational it is kinda funny, a little, no ofense, well its a little silly, but i see you can handle it well so i guess youre okay, me im scared of big spiders but after having a one year panic attack i develop a fear of heights, kinda sucks but what can i do, thats it, those are the irational fears that i have, with spiders i handle it by killing the damn thing, quickly and dispose it, with hieghts, places like balcony or rooftops have to have a barrier atleast chest high or i wouldnt feel comfortable walking around, there

Im not really sure if my fear is irrational, but im afraid of spiders. If I see a tarantula il either A) Freeze up B) Scream like a little girl C) Run like hell D) Faint Not making fun! ^.^

that isnt an irrational fear.. its actually one of the most common ones with social anxiety

Yep, spiders. All sizes, all shapes and colors. I've been afraid of them my whole life. Imagine my horror last year when I suddenly was home alone and found 5 tarantulas on my porch. I found a new use for my set of crutches that were leaning there. I now don't sit on my porch at night and I never EVER go out barefoot anymore.

I'm scared of cockroaches, especially those that fly. It's the scratchy feeling (if they should land on any part of your body) that's very eerie...plus that smell - I can feel that cold tingling up my spine!

I have a horrible fear of people touching my face. I stop breathing if someone tries. I don't know why I am like this. I have been like this since I was a baby. My told me that if she tried to wash my face I wouldn't breath. It makes doctor appoitments and dentist appointments very hard. I usually have to be sedated. I don't even like children or babies to touch my face, not even my own children. I hate the wind blowing in my face. I know it if very wierd.
