let me you your mom is joking but she wants you to take lot of water as because water is the main part of our body and it protects you from many disease like cholelithiasis, calculi urinary bladder . water prevent urinary tract infection , lessen the chance of respiratory infection and above all it keeps your kidney a ideal one and you know kidney is one of the major organ of your body which keeps you healthy . so your mom want you to be healthy so she is saying that

yeah i agree to this comment. maybe your mom just wants you to drink lots of water everyday. because water is good for the body. it cleanses our system. it is an antioxidant also.. if you drink lots of water eventually you will excrete it.

Absolutely not! It's quite the contrary. Water is heavy, and technically weighs, but that's just water weight! Water actually makes you burn calories and lose weight! If you drink a cold glass of water you burn even more calories, since your body warms the water to body temperature it steals some calories which are essentially heat from your body. Water also needs to be processed through your body causing more calorie burning.... Just eat something hearty to gain natural weight!

Also something that has no calories, like water, does not make you gain... Things with nutritional value can only make you gain real weight.

Water does not make you fat. It makes you feel bloated that's why people tend to eat less. This is what usually people do if they want to lose weight, drink 2 glasses of water before eating so you feel full at once. Also, water flushes out toxins. It helps clean the system. Not drinking enough water can lead to UTI (Urinary Track Infection) which can hurt a lot if not treated at once.

I don't think so. Everyday I try to drink more water because I think it's the healthiest drink. I am still very skinny. I love China

Well I dont know where from your mother heard that you gain weight from drinking water. It is not at all true. Tell me all the water that you drink you pee it off then how come you gain weight out of drinking water. There is nothing chemically in water except for hydrogen and oxygen(chemically), so how does one gain weight taking in hydrogen and oxygen.
