How do u learn a foreign language?

I learn a foreign language by listening audio ,learn vocabulary and do exercises .it's the traditional way and sometime I feel it have no effect .How do u learn a foreign language?

books and sometimes computer programs, but i think best is taking a class, it's hard to learn a language without having someone else to use the language with

As a European languages major, I learned the languages in that way. I couldn't think of anything better than that method because it's complete and it is in my opinion the best method for you not only to learn but to able to use a foreign language. Also by doing this you'll never forget the language no matter what.
