Do you use flowers everyday?If yes, what for do you need flowers everyday?

Flowers,when gifted to somebody in love,fill one's heart with pure joy and peace.Flowers help beautify one'appearance and bring fragrance in his/her surrounding.My wife has a regular habit of collecting flowers from our home garden to serve to our home deity.Do you need and use flowers everyday? If yes, What for?

No I prefer to have growing plants in my house, palms and peace lilys...its nice when you get flowers given to you but it is sad to see them die so soon...
