Have you Accidentally or Deliberately Stolen something before?

Erm.. I had. Once. But it wasn't on purpose. A few years ago, I was buying toiletries in a supermarket with my mommy. We were using a trolley as we bought a lot of stuff that day. After paying for the items and on the way back home, I saw something sticking out of the trolley. It was actually a lip balm. I checked the receipt and realized that I had not paid for itt. It was getting late and I was lazy to walk back to pay for the item so I happily went home with my 'Free' lip balm. How about you? Have you Accidentally or Deliberately Stolen something before? Were you caught?

haha... GOt no sensors de meh?? Then u are very lucky le wor.. Free lip balm, well u can go back the next day to pay for it too.. lol I did steal when i was young.. AS dragonball was quite popular during my primary school life, so i will buy everything related to it, including the cards.. And so happens that time my pocket money is not enough to buy as much as i want, and so i decide to sue my wits instead.. lol As the cards comes in packet forms, and i have to tear it down myself before i pay.. So most of the time i will tear down 2-3 packets at a day and put it nicely behind one another, hold in my hand and show it as only one packet.. lol =P ANd so i only pay for the price of one when i got 3.. lol But in the end after a few attempts, i got caught, and luckily nothing happened, the indian man only asked me to pay for the rest.. hehe

Yes, I did take something once that I shouldn't have. I didn't realize what I did till I got home and changed my clothes. I had some money in my back pocket. And it wasn't my money. I felt like a thief. Let me tell you the story. I work cleaning houses for a living and I am selfemployed. As I am cleaning this one house, I also do her laundry, I was putting a load of wash on and as I was doing this I checked the pockets of the clothes and I found a wad, and I mean a wad, of money in her jeans pocket. So I put the money in my pocket with the intentions of giving it to her or putting it on her dresser in her bedroom. I continued on with the load and took the dry clothes out of the dryer and wnet to her dressing room and folded the clothes and put them away. I continued to clean the house and do more laundry and so on, till the end of the day. So when I got home I found that I still had the money in my back pocket. Oh my gosh, I counted it and there was $950. Well, I phoned her immediately to tell her that I had the money and forgot to put it away. But she wasn't home. So I left a message and asked her to call me but I didn't say anything about the money because I wanted to tell her myself. Well, I called everyday for the whole week and never got a call back. So when I went the next week to clean her house I was afraid that the cops were going to meet me there and arrest me for stealing her money. I was so afraid. Well, it turned out she wasn't home and hadn't been home for the last week. Whew, I was so glad. She didn't know I had the money. I put it away in her drawer and after the day was done I left her a note. She phoned me that same night, she was out of town and just got home. I told her what happened and where the money was and she thanked me and wasn't even a bit mad at me. She didn't even know the money was missing so to her it was like a gift, she said. So the next week I went to clean she shared the money with me. She gave me half of it. She said it was a gift from god as she didn't even know she was missing the money. She has a lot of money so it was not a lot to her, so she shared it with me. Long story, huh, but so true. She is now one of my best friends.

How I wish there are more people who are honest like you. Great to see a friendship developing from this.

I have done something similar too, totally by accident. It was when I used to have the children in a pushchair, and one of the pushchairs I had one time had a basket underneath. Well I had popped into the supermarket for a few bits but did not think that I would need a basket so I just put the few bits on top of the pushchairs hood. I ended up getting more than I thought and because there was no where to put things I put them under the pushchair in the basket. Then when I went to pay I forgot about them, I never realised though until I got home!! I was lucky really that I did not get caught.

Yea. Such things happen. Luckily you are not caught. It's not nice to be accused of stealing even though it may not be deliberate.

Similar situations happenned to me so often. When I was small, me and my mom had to wait for a long time to see the doctor. So my mom went to the pharmacy to buy a bottle of juice and paid it at the cashier. Since i was small the lady at the cashier nor my mom saw me grabbing a chocolate bar and I though my mom already paid for it. It was only when I started to eat it that my mom asked me where i got it. so she went there back to pay for it. But whatever happens, we always get there back to hand in what we did not pay. many times happened that the bank gave me excess of the monney and I had to go back there to give back. Just imagine yourself in her/his shoes and finding out that there is monney missing in the cash box. I never take what is not mine.
