How to make more $$ through MyLot ?

I look at the millions on facebook, compare to mylot. I believe the popularity and the simplicity of the pages on facebook is more eye catching with easy access to load you tube clips for example. So I am putting out new ideas to mylot, such as the more you expand your own profile, the more people will check it out, however at the moment mylot, is quite messy, looks like a home made web site, and you can loose a lot of time trying to find out how to load new banners, video clips, pictures etc. I believe the more one can find away to improve mylot itself will learn a lot more money than just following what everyone else is doing!

myLot and Facebook serve different functions surely? I don't use my Facebook account to have discussions, but to have the odd e mail type chat and look at photographs. other than that it's a pain in the posterior. myLot however, allows us to discuss topics en masse, we can see photographs and link to other sites if we wish. Many of the people here do come for the money, but for people like me it is no longer of great importance. I chat to several of my friends here almost as much offline as I do on! I agree that mylot isn't the neatest site. But it serves its purpose as a discussion forum well. Many people don't go near their profile pages here. But I'd be interested to see what you achieve.

I agree entirely.
There is no comparison. Anyone wanting a site like Facebook I feel would not want to be here and vice-versa.

Do you really think that people would stop using myLot if it was more like Facebook? I think that the majority of myLot community is pretty dedicated right now and will work with whatever interface provided. The advantage of doing something more mainstream would be more members to myLot, who would get all those referrals? :)

I think my lot is very easy to use compared to alot of other websites. It is one of my favorite sites. I am experiementing with others but so far it is the one I like the best. There is nothing much to learn and it is easy to type and earn money for discussions. I dont know another site that is easier to use than my lot. Sometimes you just have to get used to sites but some of the others just seem like they dont make alot of sense.
