Today when I was coming out of class, in the hall way, I found a dollar coin. I picked it up. No body was there to ask if it was their. So, I just picked it up. Do you pick up if you find coin laying down in your way? Do you mind to pick it up if it is a penny?

I will pick up anything me (in the nicest possible way of course!) I am not proud I will pick up a penny because the old saying goes, look after the pennies and the pounds will look after themselves! One year I had a box where I put all my found coins into, I counted it up just before Christmas and I had a £100 in coins, it was amazing, there were a few notes too I had found, but it had mounted up, I spent the money on buying Christmas food and goodies for the family! See it might be only one penny but if you keep finding them they soon add up! Hope you find some more dollar coins my friend!

I have a friend who says she visualizes all of those pennies holding hands so that they can accomplish something big together. I think you are giving a really good example of that idea.

Well, usually I pick up whatever change I find and keep it inside my car because is always nice to have some change with me. Sometimes we buy something that it might be $1.01 ,so I find it silly to give $2.00 just because of one penny.

It depends on if I have the time to stop and pick it up. There are a lot of times though anymore, I do not take time if it is only a penny, and since it also hurts me to bend down, a lot of the times, I have to have someone else get it for me as well. But finding money on the ground ... even coins can add up if you are just letting them sit in a drawer, etc. and add up.

I pick up a coin, even if it is a penny. I once found a twenty dollar bill blowing across a parking lot. A neat thing, if you think of it, is that each coin says "In God we trust" and it can remind us to trust Him each time we find one.

True, I think God will love the fact that we care about every small thing.

If I find small coins I'll pick them up and put them in my savings bank, if no one else is around. If I find something larger like a twenty-dollar-bill (this actually happened once!!) I'll turn it over to the lost and ound, incase the person notices that it was lost, and comes back looking for it. Wile it would be tempting to keep he larger bill, it's not mine, so I won't keep it.

twenty dollar bill wow....I have not find any bill yet:). Like you I will not pick it up in that situation. Or if it is a big amount of money I will surely look for the person in possible way who lost it to give it back.

If it's a coin and doesn't look too dirty, then yes, I'll pick it up. You can get some nice change that way; there are pennies, nickels, dimes and quarters all over the place! I have yet to find any dollar coins just lying around though- that's quite a find! I'd keep that for a collection or something.
