My favorite animal is by far a dog... Here is a pic of our newest adopted family member.. we adopted her from a kennel a few months ago.. her name is suzie q and she is a very sweet giant of a dog... she is also a very good guard dog, and a good family pet... what is your favorite animal/ pet?

you know, i have to admit that they intrigue me also... i used to love to watch the show the crocodile hunter.. because it gave you such an up close and personal view of the animals... i find it fascinating that they seem almost like they are right out of the prehistoric ages... anyway, thank you for your response!! Besides it was nice to hear some responses other than cats and dogs as faves...

Well I grew up on a farm and I have to say that my favorite pet is a horse but now that I am in the city and my neighbors would kill me if I had a horse, I really like my dog. We adopted him from a shelter and he's a great dog.

you know we have been thinking of buying a small farm so that we can get a couple of horses and cows... I have never had a horse of my own, but my parents had them and I think they are wonderful animals.. I am a little worreid about my lack of experience with them, but hopefully some self teaching books and hands on experience and advice will help me become a successful horse owner when the time comes... thanks for your response! ;)

Horses aren't hard to work with but they are hard work. They are great pets. You can even teach them to come to you when you call them. They associate it with food, when we fed them we would yell (bellow) whip ho and they would come in from the outer fields to see what we had to feed them. We didn't have cows on the farm when I lived there but the farm a few miles down had several thousand heads of cattle, that was interesting to say the least. Good luck with the farm.

My favourite animal is a cat because below the HDB flat which i live in lives alot of cats one of the cats is about 32cm,she is very cute whenerver the cat saw someone,she would rush infront of the person and walk infront of it she is very pretty and cute she is also very active whenever she saw someone holding something she would rush infront of him/her and jump on the surrounding of the person.

same my favourite dog by far is also dog!dog are so cute and fun to play with when you have time to play with and you can take it out to play when you bored at at home.dogs are good to humans too! it can help policeman to find blood of victims when police cannot find the blood of the victim ! i should dogs are really honest and it always wag its tail when its owner come back home for work or school! anyway is your dog cute and honest to play with?

wow.. well obviously you have alot to say about this subject... you wouldn't be just trying to make more money now would you?.... but yes, my dog is huge and beautiful and protective and I couldn't ask for a better pet... thanks for your response, but mayube you should try to just cut down to one response at a time. ;)

My favourite animals is a dog.I have a dog in indonesia.It is a very cute and the dog is not so fierce.It does not bark at anyone.It does not bites anyone.Accept when strangers is atttacking me or my family members.I love that dog.Every ime when it is holidays and my father and mother are free,they will bring me to indonesia to see my dogs and my relatives i wish i can bring my dog to singapore.

Awwww, I am very sorry that you cannot bring your dog to where you are living now... that is very sad, and I am sure that you miss each other very much... I do love dogs very much, my dog is a large dog, but she is a sweetheart too... she likes to lounge around and lay on her back and sleep all day, but she will also protect our family wirh her life! I could not ask for a better companion! Thank you for your response, and again I am sorry to hear about your situation.. hopefully you will be able to have your dog come live with you soon. :)

My favourite animal is a dog because they are loyal and listen to their owners. they protect their owner and watch the house.They are cute and run alot they can help their owner if their owner's are fat as they can help their owner by helping their owners to exericise more and so they would not to be on diet almost everymeal.They also do some helpful things even if their owners did not ask them too.

That is too true... and thank you for your response! I could not agree more that dogs are wonderful animals... their label "man's best friend" is definitely as true as it gets... I think they are incredible animals, and it is amazing that they are trained to service people in all kinds of different ways, from being trained to help people with disabilities to being therapy dogs and search dogs... they truly could not be a better companion to man (or woman! ;) ...

My favorite animal is a giraffe at the moment.
No, it is not because I am tall. It is because it represents that big creatures can be gentle also. Most people fail to realize that.
Here's an example.
My friend has a greyhound. It is very well trained and very nice dog. When me and my friend and his greyhound take a walk together sometimes just to get some air(he is my neighbor), people would look at the greyhound with a startled look on their face like they are scared. Why should anyone be scared of a big creature? Thats stereotyping!

Wow, interesting response... giraffe's are very gentle and docile animals... i do have to say I also like giraffes, although to be fair, I am an animal lover and there aren't many that I don't like...
I recently actually just bought some new animal knick knacks... my living room is done in safari... so I got an elephant and a giraffe... I know that really doesn't have anything to do with the subject, but just thought I would share ;)
