Chocolates are healthy and good for children if eaten moderately and not in excess. If a kid eats too much chocolates, too much sweets, it will give them sugar rush and they tend to be more active and I swear, they'll tire you out! A piece of chocolate every once in a while wouldn't really hurt.

make chocolate as a prize for a job well done for kids. i dont think that we can completely take chocolates from them. so the best thing to do is to let them have it in moderation and encourage brushing their teeth. that way, it could compensate the damage that chocolates can do.

eating too much of anything is harmful.. just eat in moderation... i think that is best... since choclates are high in fats and carbihydrates it could be harmful to their health..

..studies show that eating too much chocolate could harm anybody's health especially for babies.. one thing to lessen the effect of chocolate is to drink lots of water and brush teeth after eating.. this way, the accumulated particles of chocolates in the teeth will be removed while water will also help flash out the chocolates eaten.. however, it is really advised that a person should eat chocolates sparingly.. As the saying says, prevention is better than cure..
