I really try to eat healthy. Especially in the last few years. I'm also not one to eat out much. My husband and I take the kids out to eat for Valentines and we go out for our anniversary. For Mother's day or Father's day we either go out or have a special meal, the same goes for our birthdays. Here lately since I have been taking my momma to the Dr, her and I stop and get a chicken wrap, but that's about it. Yesterday I had the biggest graving for a Big Mac! (I haven't had a Big Mac since I was 19. A friend of mine use to take me to MacDonald's and order that for me. I never wanted one and would eat 1/2 of it to make her happy.) I gave in to my graving and bought one. I really don't like fast food burgers, but that was so good!!! I ate every bite. I guess I feel bad about it because I have lost 11 Lbs in the last 3 months and was so proud of my self. I have no idea what made me grave it but it did satisfy me. I was wondering if anybody else every had this problem.

I actually had an addiction to Big Mac a few months back. I gained so much weight. I shot up to 248 lbs. I was ordering it online at least 4 times a week and once I ate twice in a day. My cholesterol levels got way off the charts. I never mind though since I was enjoying. Little did I know I was already addicted to it. I feel full but I'm not contented until I buy one and literally eat it leisurely. So, emotionally I'm contented after eating but I want to vomit afterwards. I've got a good salary in my previous work and for starters, the latter part of my tenure, I lost a lot to a Big Mac meal. And eventually, I lost the job. Unfortunately enough, I ate 2 Big Macs last December 19, 2007. I felt heaviness and then constricting pain on my nape. I had my second mild stroke attack. Of course, regret came in after. But it was too late. Since then, I still ate big mac but since that day, I've only eaten just 2. I don't crave anymore. Now, I've lost 47 lbs. in 2 months and I feel healthy. It feels great to start anew. Take care!

I have an old discussion about a month ago. Feel free to view my profile it's titled losing weight by managing metabolism. I've had quite a number of posts as well about it but it's scattered in different discussions under losing weight. Thanks as well.

Don't feel badly about it. One Big Mac isn't going to undo your hard work. As long as you maintain a healthy diet most of the time, you're fine. Now, you've made me hungry for a BK Veggie Burger. Mmm....

the reason that you ate the big mac is because you were used to eating half for your friend, soo many times, your body became used to it. So now what you had denied yourself this treat, your body couldnt take it! So you craved a big mac! Its not going to do you any harm once in a while hun! Dont worry about it :)

Thank you so much for your kind words! It has been 20 years since I had one, I couldn't believe it. But it was so good. LOL! My taste is satisfied now, so hopefully it will another 20 years before I crave one. Thank you for your response~
