She threw her shoe out the window!

I was on my way home from taking the kids to the park yesterday afternoon and the baby started to scream. I could not figure out what the heck was wrong with her. When we got home I noticed that only one of her Dora the Explorer croc type shoes was still in the car. The little stinker threw her shoe out the window while I was driving. That is what she got upset about. Have your kids ever thrown things out of the car while you were driving before?

This has never happened to my personally as of yet.. Thankfully! But one of my friends' daughter's threw her stuffed puppy out the car window. My friend didnt know til her older child was like "mommy mya threw her puppy out". We have no idea why she did it but thankfully they turned around and got it back! Otherwise I am thinking there would have been a super cranky child on her hands!

We were driving along a winding country road when she did it. I went back and looked, but it is hard to see a little pink shoe in all that grass and trees on the side of the road.

Oh no! Isn't it funny how kids do something on purpose, then get mad about what they did? Only they aren't mad at themselves. Little ones are cute and confounding. I don't know that I ever threw anything out the window when I was a kid, but I know I was a stinker to my mom when we were in the car one day and I sniffed a fake pearl up my nose. She was a tad panicked. By the way, I still am not getting your notifications. I contacted mylot, they got back to me two days ago and said they would look into it. So far they have done nothing, but hopefully they can fix it. I enjoy the heck out of your posts. : )

I knew you had said you were not getting my notifications last week. Bummer that you are still not getting them. Be on the look out for a few more discussions about the antics of my silly little girl. I have a few that I am going to post here in a little bit.

LOL...the poor thing! My little guy has come close to doing the same thing but usually we have the back windows up so his shoes haven't made it out of the car...yet! Usually he warns us when he's going to take his shoes off. "Shoos" is his favorite word and "Shoos, uh-oh" means "I took my shoe off and am going to throw it you don't hurry up and take it from me!"

She is obsessed with her shoes. She has even started putting them on before she even gets out of bed in the morning. Lily has been running around half the day with the 1 Dora shoe she has left on her foot.

That must have pretty traumatic for her... to lose her shoe that way... i don't drive... so there is no way that will ever happen... but we would always forget her favorite sunglasses at her grandparents' house... my baby would cry hard... at first i won't understand why... but when get back to her grandparents'... only then would i understand...

At least her glasses were left somewhere that you could go back and get them. I cannot find her shoe on the side of the road. I looked the next day when I was driving along the same road.
