Foreign Friends

hello, monaliu. my name is solana. i'm from indonesia. i'm new in myLot. so funtastic here, we can discuss something, making friends, and earn money. so amazing. we live in busy world, monaliu. although everybody seems so busy walking down their life, there's one thing that a person can't avoid: he/she needs friend(s).wherever he/she lives, he/she needs friends. friends from different culture is more exciting, i guess. and.....i start it from you. ^_^

Hi Mona, Am trying to make friends too in here. But its very difficult to choose whom to make friends with me. I see a lot of us Asians are there in mylot and also noticed that most of them befriend the westerners rather than from Asia itself. hi there nice to meet you. i am a chinese too but i'm born and bred in singapore. i have made quite a few friends here at mylot. i didn't really ask where did they come from as it doesn't really matter to me. i accept my friends as they are and nationality doesn't make any difference. i enjoy responding and reading responses to discussions i started. enjoy yourself here and see you around.

I dont really have any good friends here on MyLot or online but I do have a lot of forgien friends in real life. But most of my friends are forgein. I am also forgein and not one of those newly forgein people but I moved here when I was really little and I have caught onto the language now and I have become acustomed to the culture here and everything else but I really love hanging out with my own kind and even other forgein people because they just understand what youre going through or have gone through. I mean, it makes more sense for me like that.

No, I will not be adopting any girls from China. It takes very much money and I do not have money. I do love those little girls though and I feel so lucky to know them. The youngest one was adopted when she was three years old and I felt so sorry for her when she first came to America. She could not speak English and at first it was very hard for her. She now speaks English very well and she is doing fine. In our country, I don't know if you do this, we often call those we love "Honey" which means we think they are sweet. Well, I called this little girl "Honey" during her piano lessons, and she decided that was what she wanted her name to be. So, her parents and sisters called her "Honey" for a long time. I thought it was very cute. Now, she is four years old and she goes by her real name.

Hello, monaliu. In what area of China do you live? Do you live near Beijing where the Olympics are to be held? If so, are you going to go to the Olympics and watch any of the competitions? I have four little piano students who come to my home every week for their piano lessons. They were all adopted from China by an American couple. The girls are all very nice girls. One is very talented in piano, and the youngest enjoys piano very much. I am so happy to have these young girls as students. How do you feel about American couples coming to China to adopt girls?

I open to all kinds of friends. I already have a bunch of friends from around the world. I think it's a great feeling knowing that someone cares about you from miles away. I can't really seem to find people around here that I can talk to, so online I have had many interesting conversations to keep me going.

I am from INDIA. I have a lot of friends from all over the world in mylot. Making friends is great fun here. we are having a great time in mylot.
