I have done this for the 100 points and the 50 a month for searching 10 times at least, but I have run across a serious problem. It keeps hijacking my pages! I will put in my address bar that I want to come to mylot or myspace or wherever I am wanting to go and it will redirect me to mypoints search. Makes me mad because I know where I want to go, I don't need help making the 10 required searches in a month, so what is the deal? Do you have this problem? Should I notify mypoints of this or chalk it up to a bug and uninstall it. IF it will even let me.

I really have had problems with it. Not for my home page, but when I am using traffic exchanges it seems to have a mind of its own and I am constantly have to back out of the search page to get back to the traffic exchange. And yes, yu should let mypoints know that it is causing this problem. I have.

At least I know I am not the only one. That stinks. They promise it is bug free and obviously it isn't. To be sure, I will let them know

I dont normally download software onto my computer. I thought about downloading this but I decided not to. Now that I read your discussion I am glad that I didnt download it since I dont want the same things to happen to me. I find that it is easy to earn points by doing things like reading email so I dont need to download this. :)

I, like you downloaded the my points search bar for the points it offered. I must say they were easy points but in the end I decided not worth the hassle because of the page hijacking issues. I made a decision to clean up my pc and so with that cleanup I uninstalled the tool bar.
